I found an entire page where no links worked or wen anywhere. Two of the grants were about artists, which I am. I am also in desperate financial need. and a female veteran... I hope I get a response from the first comment, but when I can't open any links, and your contact info is greyed out on your page, I am tending to lose hope I can get help here...

Do You Have An Emergency Financial Need?

I do not see anyplace where the "organizer" can be contacted. I am a 100% disabled veteran and have been taken advantage of by family while ill for several thousand dollars. The VA found a tricky way not to pay my family in school the same month, and CA elected not to extend unemployment benefits to 48 mo. beyond the 24 mo. even on a case by case basis so my husband lost that income in the same month, and now my little family, husband and son, is homeless. I have a low income, but it was enough for us to live on while my husband goes back to school, but $5000 in one month is simply not something I can recuperate. I asked my family for help, moved out of a rental so they could replace my income, asked for a couple months off rent, and they refused, after not paying me several hundred they owed me for TV and internet installations, and never paying their share of the bill, they evicted us instead. I live in an area where I am over the "means" test because it is mainly a welfare county, and there is not a single local, county, state, federal, or VA program that can help me because they are ALL means based. There is NO program specifically for veteran's and veteran's families that are financially abused by relatives, although it happens a lot. My husband was in school, and as my primary caregiver not there to help me. My mother was supposed to be helping with my care-giving but it has become obvious she can't, let alone she also took money from me because my brother takes it from her too. Don't know if listing this here will help, but we may have to voluntarily repossess a car or file bankruptcy, all this just after getting our scores up to 640 to move. It is not a matter of competency, but bullying and my father passing away, dynamics changing, and my suffering malpractice right before which made my disabilities strained making me an easy target. I simply don't know what to do.
